Following it’s original successful launch in 2014, Speedwell School’s Credit Union once more re-opened for business in September 2018 and collects on every Wednesday (from 8.45 – 9.00).
This gives children the ability to save money into their own bank account, which they can see grow through their own passbook. This includes all children in a family – even babies. Minimum 50p deposit every week. We would like children to have practical maths experience, but also get into the good habit of saving.
